Henri Devier signs since 2001 the direction of the shows of the Company Melkior Théâtre and plays in most of the creations. He sometimes collaborates to other artistic adventures when the meeting is made obvious fact. He founded the company of contemporary theater Melkior Théâtre in 1981, then La gare mondiale in 2001. His artistic research looks for the emancipation from the traditional formats of the live performance, by feeding on experiments and on interactions with diverse fields. He also develops since 2001 a participative approach of the artistic performance with diverse types of audiences, from “priority”, disadvantaged, or marginalized districts. He has always lived and worked in Bergerac. He has just retired to move to the town of Lorient where he has created a new company called the Wilde Factory.
