Resistant Reverberations

On this island we engage with struggle over the right to speak and be hard. Inspired by Brandon Labelle’s work on Acoustic Justice, this space critically addresses questions of places, borders, community and the acoustic norms defining capacities of listening, leading to “poetic ecologies of resonances”. 

This Radio programming was created for the Acoustic Room, a space curated by Giulia Crisci, for Short Theatre Festival 2023 in Rome, directed by Piersandra Di Matteo, thanks to the support of the Creative Europe project Radio That Matters and the collaboration of Radio Commons, Radio Papesse, Firefly Frequencies, Radio La Colifata, Fango Radio.
