XMTR

On this island we present works that we first encountered at the XMTR festival, a celebration of sonic storytelling as part of the Sono-Electro Sound Arts Festival at Electro Studios in St Leonards on Sea, UK.

Radio Commons was invited to have a presence at the first XMTR festival in September 2024.

XMTR is an evolving curated space to celebrate audio works that cut through the noise, bend genres, amplify unheard voices, immerse, and surprise. The project aims to prevent independent audio works and archive treasures from drowning in the murky sea of content.
