Nous sommes en mars 2016, la destruction de la partie sud de la Jungle, un camp de réfugiés informel situé à la périphérie de Calais, en France, est en cours. La Jungle s’élève chaque jour entre la fin de la terre et le début de la mer. 10 000 personnes en mouvement, issues de plus de 15 nationalités différentes, vivent dans cette ville construite grâce à l’aide et à la solidarité internationale de centaines de personnes. Dépasser cet espace est l’objectif de la plupart de ceux qui y sont arrivés. Passer, aller au-delà, c’est l’action même qui fonde l’existence de cette ville frontière.

It is March 2016, the destruction of the southern part of the Jungle, an informal refugee camp on the outskirts of Calais, France, is underway. The Jungle rises every day between the end of the land and the beginning of the sea. 10,000 people on the move of more than 15 different nationalities live in this city built with the help and international solidarity of hundreds of people.Passing beyond this space, is the goal of most of those who have arrived here. To trepass, to go beyond, is the very action that lies at the core of the existence of this place.
