Transmission details: Haris Sahačić, a sound artist, has been carrying out, as part of a European research and innovation project supported by Horizon 2020, an artistic research on “quintessence as a public space.” This radio programme is focused on the sound compositions resulting from his research in Ljubljana.
« My research on technological noise brought me among others also to several pseudo philosophical and poetical questions and conclusions that cannot be scientifically proven. I am the source of them. And most probably I cannot be scientifically proven. In order to create for listeners more space for meditative contemplation about these questions and conclusions I found a specific way to formulate, record and edit my story. Radio Minutatures enabled me to express myself in words that have same or similar pronouncing and meaning in different languages: Italian, French, Spanish, English, Slovenian and Bosnian. On this way I am conceptually trying to tackle and question the idea that somewhere between differences is the meaning, hidden between artistic expression and scientific truth, between lingual similarities, inside differences, all suggestive, all towards the understanding and harmonic fit. »
