La Casa delle Agriculture Tullia e Gino has been organizing the Notte Verde Festival (Green Night) in Castiglione d’Otranto – a village on the extreme South-East of Italy – for 11 years. Through the years, Notte Verde has become the largest event in the area dedicated to environmental issues, agroecology, biological and ethical agriculture. Every year, on August 31 they have celebrated the New Year of the agricultural cycle, mixing local and international experiences in agroecology through participation, co-creation, exchange and sharing generative forces. 

Seed Bombs is a constellation of sonic elements harvested during the 11th edition of the Notte Verde Festival. It’s a collection of sounds, documentary fragments, songs, debates, rumours and whispers, as well as field recordings of questions, speeches, music and poetry that resonate with the contributions of the communities that nurished the 2022 Notte Verde Festival.

Seed Bombs is a sonic gesture that slips into the radio to proliferate, a handful of tiny seeds that will grow in the forest, on the cliff or in the fields. Piano-piano, at their own pace. Our sonic seed bombs expand in different environments, forms and habitats to amplify biodiversity through our experience of the Green Night Festival of Castiglione.

Seed Bombs is a bomb of sonic seeds that carry change and transformation though the network of the earth we are all part of.

Chi semina utopia raccoglie realtà!

La Casa delle Agriculture Tullia e Gino organizza da undici anni il Festival Notte Verde a Castiglione d’Otranto, un piccolo borgo nell’estremo Sud-Est d’Italia. Nel corso degli anni, la Notte Verde è diventata il più grande evento della zona dedicato alle tematiche ambientali, all’agroecologia, all’agricoltura biologica ed etica. Ogni anno, il 31 agosto, viene celebrato il Capodanno del ciclo agricolo, tenendo insieme esperienze locali e internazionali di agroecologia attraverso la partecipazione, la co-creazione, lo scambio e la condivisione di forze generative.

Seed Bombs è una costellazione di elementi sonori raccolti durante l’undicesima edizione del Festival Notte Verde. È una collezione di suoni, frammenti documentaristici, canzoni, dibattiti, voci e sussurri, oltre a registrazioni sul campo di domande, discorsi, musica e poesia che risuonano con i contributi delle comunità che hanno nutrito il Festival Notte Verde del 2022.

Seed Bombs è un gesto sonoro che si insinua nella radio per proliferare, una manciata di minuscoli semi che cresceranno nella foresta, sulla scogliera o nei campi. Piano piano, al loro ritmo. Le nostre bombe di semi sonori si espandono in ambienti, forme e habitat diversi per amplificare la biodiversità attraverso l’esperienza del Festival Notte Verde di Castiglione.

Seed Bombs è una bomba di semi sonori che porta cambiamento e trasformazione attraverso la rete della terra di cui tutti facciamo parte.
