Viola Berlanda. Photographer, journalist, radio producer. Her photo reportages explore complex political and social contexts often seen through intimate life stories. She started to work in theatres and with contemporary dance companies. For ten years she has been the official photographer for an important dance festival in Italy. She has started to express herself through videos and sounds and to produce documentary radio stories that have been broadcast on national radios. She was born in Turin, Italy, but has made her headquarters in Paris.

Ha iniziato a lavorare nei teatri e con compagnie di danza contemporanea. Per dieci anni è stata la fotografa ufficiale di un importante festival di danza in Italia. Ha iniziato a esprimersi attraverso video e suoni e a produrre storie radiofoniche documentarie che sono state trasmesse da radio nazionali. È nata a Torino, ma si è stabilita a Parigi.
